Tips for Great Calendar Sales
In preparation for the release of the 2026 calendar, and the 2025 fundraising season, we would like to offer some helpful tips and suggestions from our club members, volunteers and supporters that others can use to help sell calendars and boost sales.
If you have a tip or suggestion that might be helpful, simply reply to this newsletter, or send a message to membership@greencapes.com!
Each month, we will anonymously print your submissions in the newsletter so that others can read and try them themselves. Together, we can help boost our sales and make the 2025 fundraising season our best ever!
Here are a few tips to start things off:
- Puppies, and dogs, sell! If you have a puppy in training, or have a working or retired service dog, bring him or her along. People love to pet a dog and play with a puppy, and it will give you an opportunity to talk about service dogs, and sell a calendar.
- Check out events and locations where dog owners gather, such as dog parks and dog shows. People who own dogs are usually more interested in puppy calendars and are willing to support a great cause.
- Take a calendar or an advertising poster to work, or ask a friend or family member to take one, and post or show it to co-workers. This can often get multiple sales.
Give these tips a try, and send us any you would like to share!
New arrivals in the Green Capes Store
Green Capes is officially launching a new line of vehicle window and bumper stickers, which are available for purchase for just $3.00 through our Green Capes Store and at our various fundraising events in Ontario and British Columbia.
Available in two beautiful, full color designs, these stickers are sure to be a hit with fosters and dog lovers everywhere!
Both stickers measure 4 inches in diameter, with squared corners at the bottom.
The first design features the Green Capes Super Pup in the center, with the phrases “Super Pup on board” at the top and “A puppy today, a Super Hero tomorrow” underneath. At the bottom is a green banner with the greencapes.com web address displayed in white.
The second design also features the Green Capes Super Pup in the center, with the phrases ”Supporting the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides” and “Green Capes” encircling it, with “Est. 2018” displayed to the left of the Super Pup image. At the bottom of the sticker is a green banner with the greencapes.com address displayed in white.

Major progress on the new school construction
The exterior construction on most of the new school is nearing completion! Windows are going in, and a lot of work is now being done on the interior walls.
Below is a collage showing, from the top center, the support walls in place on the main level, an East view showing the nearly complete building, the Northwest wing of the kennels, a Drone view from June, the external window glass being installed and lovely Turner in his crate in the middle.
