Now is a great time to become a Green Capes member!
Thought about becoming a member of Green Capes, but wasn’t sure if now was the right time? Well, now is the best time to make a difference!
In the next few months, Green Capes will be holding elections for positions in the club’s Operating Committee, and anyone who is a full member in the club has the opportunity to vote on who will become part of the team that will guide the club’s future activities. You may even be able to become part of the team yourself, and be one of our club’s guiding influences!
Don’t miss your chance to make a difference. Come out and join the fun!
Want more info on becoming a member in Green Capes? Send a note to membership@greencapes.com, and we will be happy to help!

If you are a teacher, member of a school PAC, or member of a District School Board and would like to receive information about the School Sales Program, go to greencapes.com/school and submit an online request. Our School Sales Program team will contact you right away.
Up-coming events:
With the start of the new year comes the planning and design of the new calendar, and the scheduling of events for the new fund raising season. At present, we have no events scheduled, but stay tuned for announcements of new events to come, and watch the Facebook groups for postings on how you can help. There will be many fun and exciting times to come!

Are you looking for a great new year’s resolution? How about joining the Green Capes Lions Club, and helping to bring the independence, safety and joy a Superhero brings to a person with a disability!
EVEN A SUPERHERO NEEDS A HELPING PAW
If you have ever considered becoming a member, now is a great time! What an amazing way to start off the new year!
We need new people, new ideas and new energy. As a full member you would be able to participate in meetings and committees, lead events and guide our future!
Did you know that there are fewer than 25 full time members at Green Capes?
Anyone is welcome to join, from anywhere in Canada! Most members are past or present puppy raisers, graduates and supporters, and we all work together to help give Canadians living with disabilities the joy, safety and independence a Dog Guide brings.
Green Capes meets monthly via Zoom, and currently conducts events in southern Ontario and northeast British Columbia.
More information is on the Join Us page
Members pay an annual membership fee of $95 (pro-rated, if applicable), plus a one-time Lions International setup fee of $50.
Come join the fun, and help us make today’s puppies tomorrow’s Superheroes!
